Dear Scott,

I have done a DNS report and Whois search, plus read through the scam.com crap.

I call it crap, because it seems that no matter what company a thread is started on in there, someone has a bunch of ignorant lies to spew.

I take everything at scam.com with a grain of salt.

From what I've found so far, the company looks solid. But, I haven't visited it or spoken with the owner yet, and I don't plan on making the trip either.

I don't think it's any safer or worse than PayPal, and I actually think it will be more business friendly than PayPal.

If someone else knows something I don't yet, I'm all ears if you have proof!

Take Care,

Shannon

Thanks Shannon,

I hadn't checked them out as closely as you, but have sense. Scam.com dose seem to put anything down they talk about. Oh well, another opinion.
I have tryed to contact the owner of AlertPay but haven't had any luck yet.

Hey. Just checking back. AlertPay is going strong and growing everyday!

The owners are dedicated to making AlertPay bigger and better than any other online payment processor.

Don't be afraid of these guys! A great back up for your other payment processors.

Thanks for reading!

I have one problem with this Alertpay. I earned $7 from referrals but because of that they trying to find anyway they can to approve my application to get verify. I think they are afraid i am going to get that $7 and never return. But that's my earn because i help them to promote. Alertpay should vanish from the internet.

It says my account is suspended when i logged in after a month of receiving my first payment as someone convinced me to open an account there in order to pay me money owed, I added my bank account as they asked, i verfied successfully the bank account but when I saw that a month had gone by and I never received said transfers, I go to log in to check on the problem and my account has been suspended!! this is not legal and I don't know whether to pursue Alertpay or the buyer for scamming me over $200! But it wont be let off easy, I expect an answer immediatly! Very frustrated with this situation, the buyer is holding their product while I am out the funds thanks to Alertpay!??

Have you tried contacting AlertPay about your account suspension?

Re: scam.com : Often the biggest scammers are the ones who will post negative information anywhere and everywhere. AlertPay has been going strong for over three years now and seem to improve their features regularly. I like the design of their site now much better than before as it's more user friendly.

I used them from day one, very good, BUT last month i received the Suppended notice also after 1 hour on hold i spoke with a girl and they said they have changed their policies, and i would receive my money after 30 days, 2 days later they send me an e-mail saying now the end of January,I have been around 3rd party billers for 8 years now. This is where they keep pushing you off until they can get all they money in a different bank they disappear.

Remember My Virtual Card? same City that AlertPay is and opened right after My Virtual card Stole everyones money, they got my company for over $250,000.i would bet the people who ran MVC are the same people.

Alert Pay? In my opinion, is doing what all 3rd party companies do, they have collected enough money to retire now, and are closing down.

AlertPay are a scam! Do not use them! I have been using them for sometime, they paid out ok at first and then asked me to verify. I had no problem accepting payments while i got verified as i thought they paid me before, they'll pay me again. I verified successfully and then clicked to withdraw my funds. I left a small amount in there and just withdrew the majority as there is a 2.25 charg each time. The next day they announce that they can no longer accept any payments online because of a problem with MasterCard and VISA. I decided to withdraw the rest of my money. A few days past then they sent me an email telling me they have declined my withdrawal request as I must leave at least 1000 GBP in my account at all times as we sell online so we are therefore high risk. They accepted my 60.00 GBP withdrawal request though. I requested the remaining 1200.00 GBP leaving the 1000 GBP in the account while the dispute continues. that request is still pending. Seems they are dragging their heals to pay out now. In their terms and conditions it states that if you close your account you lose all of your money. so it seems they will keep that 1000 GBP forever because they won't let you withdraw it and if you close your account you loose it! DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I hate PayPal and need an alternative. Having a hard time finding one. I don't know how much concern to have regarding an anonymous posting about AlertPay being a scam. I guess I'll take a chance.

I have been waiting now 3 months to become verified....During which time the said I can use the account to accept payments etc. Send them a bill in date, they came back and said it was not in date. Meanwhile I had some payments come in, guess what now the have put a hold on my account until I become verified...Send them a new proof of address nearly 3 weeks ago plus 3 messages, no response to the messages and I am still not verified. SO what are you supposed to do tell your customer, oh sorry your payment is in limbo, as Alertpa never contact me...They are a waste of time or a scam one of the 2

while alertpay might not be a true scam, there is actually a higher level of fraud going on that all of you seem to be completely oblivious too!

Alertpay is apparently FDIC insured and almost all of their merchants are scammers and 90% of their money supplies comes from illegal ponzi and pyramid schemes!!!!

I smell a bigger conspiracy going on here. How on earth is this financial institution getting away with catering to scammers and millions in ponzi money!!????? You all might want to take a closer look into alertpays money and their business partners!

Thanks for your comments! I have lost $25 because I did not get my account verified from not logging in and forgetting my password. My email address had changed so I could not get lost password notifications. Support could not help me because of these issues? I have created a new account and have added and removed small amounts of money after finally getting verified. No real problems except my lack of email updating and the pain of getting verified.

Alert Pay is nice because it can be used on sites PayPal reject. But remember back when PayPal Froze a bunch of this type sites accounts and lot of people lost a lot of money? There is a reason why PayPal does what they do! Some were ponzis and some were scams.... some may not have been but if they were on the up & up would they have just disappeared?

As businessclix says, the businesses Alert Pay is allowing scares me the most. I have seen millions in ponzi and scam site money dry up and blow away in the click of a mouse!

Alert Pay has been around for a few years and seems like they are shooting for a lot more, they seem to be tightening the rains....

But who can you trust with your money anyway?

I hate Alertpay!

I have been getting the runaround from their customer and tech support for now almost a month. When a customer buys something the payment goes into my alertpay account BUT the client has to wait days for the download to work. So stupid. I never had this problem with Zombaio.

So far a person who spoke almost no English in their customer service told me it is my sites fault. I was put on hold for so long that I actually fell asleep waiting. After I called back they said they had a lot of people away. So now I have to contact my customers one at a time. Put all the files that they bought in folders and then give them the download links.

Alertpay so far sucks. If they dont fix this problem this week I am dumping them.

I have been using alertpay.com as a credit card processor for about a year (googledeal.com). I did not have any problem with money but some of my customers complained that they tried to pay by credit card but did not success with alertpay.

Alerpay is a company to stay away from. The way alertpay is taking advantage of its customers by literally defrauding them with hidden costs and $500 penalties I see a connection with Netpay here, a notorious company ran by Indians just like Alertpay that filed for bankruptcy resulting in their customers losing all their money. I will like to hear other people experiences dealing with Alertpay. It is shocking to me how Alertpay is still functioning after defrauding people of thousands of dollars with hidden fees and extortion branded as "$500 penalties" there are the only third party payment processors that does this. This was exactly what NETPAY did before filing for bankruptcy causing their clients to lose the tone of $4.5 million dollars, their customers were literally crying and these guys were laughing because in their agreement it was stated that all monies were not insured and you were doing business with them at your own risk, the same cut and paste agreement is used on the Alertpay agreement and terms of condition. One of the most reputable business network websites has declared alertpay as a fraudulent company and have warned all their users and the general public to stay away from Alerpay due to the overwhelming horror stories http://www.italkcash.com/forum/i-tal...m-company.html I have filed a complained with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and waiting for their response.
These people think they are still in India and can do whatever they want. At this point, we do not know what to do and have just called it a loss. Sad sad story. Beware of this company, I warn you. Its unfortunate that a lot of people start researching a company online after they have been taken, I also fell in the same boat :-(

Alertpay.com is apparently according to themselves a financial company registered in Sweden with the name and info:

Ceptum AB
Frösundaviks Allé 15 4tr
16970 Solna
Sweden
Phone: +46 76 832 11 11

Registered by someone called: Thomas Michael Nordgren
Some other guy sitting on the board of the company is named: Karl Pontus Ljunggren

The same company according to another registry is also found on the following address: Strandv. 7 A, 114 56 STOCKHOLM. According to AlertPay, they are also enforced by the Canadian government to be in full compliance with the Money Laundering act. Where is the registration number for this?

- Although the company in Sweden does not present anywhere that it is registered to conduct financial services, thus allowing them to hold money on behalf of third party. So who holds the money? In what bank are the money actually stored?

- According to AlertPay all money stored behalf of third party (which they give no indication of where) are safe from bankruptcy. But where is this money stored? How can we be sure its not held in the same account. We can only speculate its not since the company does not give any proof of having a license to do so.

- Additionally the Swedish company is owned by a mother company with the name of Ceptum Ltd.

- This if for some ODD reason a British company. The details are as following:

CEPTUM LIMITED
1-5 LILLIE ROAD
LONDON
SW6 1TX
Company No. 06286425
Company incorporated: 19/06/2007

Names such as: JOHN FRANCIS BERTRAND appear in the company registry and DIRECTOR DANIEL BRIGHT as well as we once again find THOMAS MICHAEL NORDRGREN.

So how is AlertPay a Canadian company? It seems more or less like a EU company, with no apparent presence in Canada other than what they self proclaim on their own website. Even though they call themselves AlertPay Inc. there is no indication of how and why Cemtum AB and Ceptum Ltd are related and why there are so many holding companies.

There is actually no indication of a Canadian company called AlertPay since all searches for AlertPay failed to give a valid NEQ (Quebec Enterprise Number) result in the Canadian database.

Once again, make sure not to keep money with AlertPay until we can get a public statement from AlertPay about these questions, as this could out of the blue turn out to be a mess financially if this company decides to pull all plugs.

They are a total scam! They will keep holds on your money and invent fees and fines to keep it all! now they lost both Visa and MasterCard processing so they might soon pack up the bags and go back to India
